Fundamentals of Palliative Care
In conjunction with Hospice New Zealand, Hospice West Auckland brings you the Fundamentals of Palliative Care Programme | Ngā Tūāpapa o Te Pairuri. This is an inter-professional holistic learning programme for anyone who is interested to learn about End of Life care. Designed for both registered and non-registered healthcare workers, it is a blended learning programme of 4 eLearning components followed by a full day in-person workshop, and an optional half day online session covering Symptom Control & Pharmacology in Palliative Care.

Pre-Requisites: The 4 eLearning components provide you with the fundamental information and skills for each topic. They include questions, case studies and reflection activities to help you apply the learning to your own practice, and must be completed before attending the in-person workshop.
