Hospice West Auckland is proud to offer the Hospice New Zealand endorsed Syringe Driver Competency Certification Workshop.
The Syringe Driver workshop is a blended programme designed to assist Registered Nurses, Pharmacists and Paramedics to gain and maintain Syringe Driver proficiency through theoretical and practical skills in handling of drugs and the syringe driver itself within palliative care and end of life care. To gain full competency, you must:
- Complete the online Theoretical and Calculation eLearning and assessments through Hospice New Zealand’s Knowledge Hub platform.
- Followed by in-person Syringe Driver Practical Competency workshop.
