Hospice West Auckland is proud to offer the Syringe Driver Competency Certification Workshop endorse by Hospice New Zealand. Further information is available on the Hospice New Zealand website here.
This is a combined programme of theory via eLearning through PalEd, followed by a practical competency in-person assessment workshop delivered by the Hospice West Auckland Learning & Development Team.
Benefits:
- Gain proficiency in the commencement and management of the (preferred) Syringe Driver theoretical and practical skills in the handling of drugs and the syringe driver.
- Teh role of syringe drivers in palliative care and end of life care, specialist input into the management of the syringe driver.
